Alice Sue "Susie" Thornton, 85, wife of Joseph Boswell Thornton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family. In addition to his wife, Marcia Lemere Kelley he is survived by his sons James “Jimmy” Randall Kelley, Jr. of Piedmont, SC, David “Scott” Kelley of Greenville, and daughter Karen “Rene” Kelley Medlin of Easley as well as his 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild on the way. Surviving also are his brothers Milton Kelley of Monks Corner, Maurice Kelley of Easley, John Milas Kelley of West Union and sisters Rita Kelley of Franklin, NC, Donna Kelley Smith of Seneca, as well as Linda Kelley Remillard of Dalton, GA.
